Vari Lahui

Chief Executive Officer

Vari started work as a bank officer in October 1987 after withdrawing from university studies to look after his young family. During his 25-year banking career, he has worked in just about all areas of banking, mainly in relationship banking (lending) and credit administration. Vari has also had stints in Samoa (formerly Western Samoa) and the Solomon Islands as an expatriate contract officer.

After joining ncsl in January 2013 as General Manager, and delivering years of positive interest yields to its members, Vari has reached the position of Chief Executive Officer. Vari has also recently graduated with a Bachelor in Management from the Divine Word University and is also Congregation Chairman for his local church, Gohu United Church.

Member: Papua New Guinea Institute of Banking & Management, and PNG Institute of Directors.


Jackraho Morea 

Manager Finance & Accounting

Jack started his career with PwC in 2004, in addition to other firms prior to joining ncsl in 2016 as Manager in charge of Finance. He has over fifteen (15) years of work with various firms and financial institutions. His experience includes internal/external audit, corporate governance, financial accounting, management accounting and advisory roles. Jack holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Technology, Lae and currently a member of CPA PNG.


Bernard Geita

Manager Lending

Bernard joined ncsl in September 2004 after having started his working career with PNG Banking Corporation in 1986. He spent 18 years in the Bank working in General Banking, Consumer Lending and Small Business Lending. Since his engagement with ncsl he has held various positions as Senior Loans Officer, Operations Manager and is currently the Manager Lending. In 2010 he graduated and attained certification under the Manager Certification Program hosted by the World Council of Credit Unions.


Evelove Farapo 

Team Leader – Marketing & Client Relations

Evelove possesses a Bachelor in Arts obtained from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2008.

She commenced her career with nasfund as a Marketing Executive in 2008 and moved on to assume the role of Team Leader Marketing and Client Relations in 2009. Evelove has over 12 years of exposure with ncsl as the Team Leader responsible for all marketing drives and initiatives and is passionate about promoting ncsl initiatives and campaigns.


Nosuau Kini

Manager Risk

Nosuau Kini holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting conferred in 2005 by the Southern Cross University through its affiliation with Institute of Business Studies.

He is passionate about matters of corporate governance and has worked majority of his career in the internal audit, risk & compliance areas.

He has 13 years of work experience, holding executive roles as an internal auditor and managing areas of risk & compliance at PNG Power, Nambawan Super, Air Niugini & Capital Insurance.

Nosuau joined ncsl in September of 2019 and is in charge of the newly created division of managing risk & compliance matters at ncsl.


Vavine Iamo

Manager E-Banking

Vavine possesses a double Diploma in Banking at PNGIBBM and Australian Diploma in Leadership and Management with Torrens University-affiliated through PNGIBBM.

She started her career with ANZ Bank and has had a stint of 22 years with the Bank having assumed various positions.  She started employment with ANZ in customer sales and support roles at Port Moresby Branch and then progressed to occupy Team Leader, Call Centre and Manager, Electronic Banking Services for Southern Region. 

Vavine commenced employment with ncsl in September 2019 as Manager E-banking, a newly created Department, and currently in charge of the Department.

She is passionate about rolling banking initiatives electronically and always strive to pursue this goal in her career.


Henry Pupu

Manager Human Resources

Henry possesses a Bachelor in Business Management (Majoring in Human Resources Management) from the University of Papua New Guinea having graduated in 2011.

He has held various roles with a few reputable firms such as OK TEDI Mining, SP Brewery, Coffey International and recently with Remington Group prior to his engagement at NCSL.

Henry joined ncsl in July, 2018 as Manager Human Resources and his passionate about providing best practice HR support within the business.

He is a current member of the PNG Human Resource Institute.


Venessa Vee

Manager Legal

Venessa Vee graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2010 and commenced her legal career with Young & Williams Lawyers in 2011 and  later joined Steamships Trading Company Limited in 2017 as a Company Lawyer.

Venessa recently joined ncsl in 2020. She brings to ncsl in-depth experience and knowledge in corporate, commercial and litigation law.


Joshua Isimel

Projects Coordinator

He joined ncsl as an ICT Helpdesk Officer in 2015 and later became the Projects Coordinator in 2019, bringing with him 8 years of ICT and Banking Systems hands on experience. Mr. Isimel has a Diploma in Project Management from DLC, an Advance Diploma in Information Technology and a Diploma in Information Technology from the Institute of Business Studies in Port Moresby.

He brings a fresh outlook with a passion for enhancing a positive customer experience for the members’ ultimate satisfaction, a bench mark for ncsl in meeting its members’ financial needs. He strives for continuous improvements on ncsl’s products, services and processes all for convenience and best customer experience.
